Online Faith Sharing Program with Fr. Michael Adebote

Fr. Michael will be facilitating an online faith sharing program to allow participants to enter more deeply into the Gospel Readings from the week.  Guidlelines for participation and the online conference information are below.

Each Friday at 7PM, participants may log into the conference below to discuss the upcoming Sunday Gospel Readings.  Pleaase contact the Parish Office if you have any questions.

  1. It is advisable that participants / families use the same reading translation as everyone else: Anyone can pick up a copy or two of the 2020 "Breaking Bread" from any of our parish offices.

  2. Read the Gospel for this coming weekend very slowly and prayerfully multiple times before the meeting time.

  3. Look closely around that passage and hear it well: You may use your Bible here.

    1. Note the author of the Gospel (is it Matthew or Mark, etc?).

    2. Remember the chapter.

    3. Memorize the verse that speaks to you most and think of how it does this?

    4. Does the passage invite me to do something new or encourage me to keep doing something?

  4. On Friday at 7PM, log into the conference using the information provided below.

  5. Due to time restriction and the pattern of the sharing, only about 4 people may be able to share each week. We shall allow others to do the sharing the next time.

  6. We can then pray for grace according to what we have been privileged to come to know or hear or what we are invited to become and for the strength to remember what God says to us now.

NB: Every sharing is sacred and should be treated with courtesy and respect.

Let Your Voice Be Heard – Again
“Say No to ROE”

The state legislature has extended the session until January 5th , 2021.

Please remind the members of the Joint Committee on Judiciary that you oppose the expansion of abortion in Massachusetts.
Please call the Committee at 617-722-2396 and let them know you are opposed to H3320 and S1209 – the ROE legislation. Every telephone call helps!
Remember these bills would remove:
·The requirement that young girls obtain consent before an abortion
·The requirement that efforts be made to save a living baby who survives abortion
·The requirement that late term abortions be performed in hospitals
·And the bills would allow abortion on demand for all nine months of pregnancy.
For more information about how the ROE legislation would expand abortion in Massachusetts visit www.macatholic.org

Thank you!
